So there's a topic that's been getting a lot of attention the past few days around the dragon community. More attention then usual, and I would like to discuss the topic and share my own points of views. So, the topic, as you probably guessed, is copying. Copying a style and/or copying a character or multiple characters for creating one OC.
I think this is a serious issue. First, let me just point out that this is not art theft, as many people seem to confuse the two and think that they're the same. This isn't just taking someone's work and posting it onto their own account and claiming "Hey, I drew this!" when they obviously didn't. No, tha
I think every artist out here has experienced it at least one time in their career: the so called artblock. A moment of total lack of inspiration that suddenly hits you, and leaves you unable to create. Most often the solution is to just wait. Most artblocks will solve automatically with time. But there are circumstances in which an artblock doesn't automatically disappear, or when you have deadlines to catch. In that case, you might be helped by some basic tips to conquer your artblock.

Recent News!
I know, I know, weren't expecting me back so soon huh? Well, it's me, Mark :)! And I'm returning to deviantArt! I just wanted to talk a bit about my experience as a missionary and my experience that I have had in New York. It was a really cool phase in my life, and I was blessed to help lots and lots of people with all different sorts of things. Normally, these types of missions run close to two years, and I'll explain why I'm home a little earlier than usual in a minute. Anyway, I just wanted to thank everyone for the loving prayers and hopes and support that I received while I was gone. I couldn't have done it without you guys

I've been in China for almost a week now, and all the memories I have of this place is flooding back. Unfortunately, many of those memories are quite negative. A lot of people commented on my last journal asking why my stepmom and half brother had tried to kill me. It's not a secret and I'm in a weird mood right now so I'll retell the story.
I last visited China almost five years ago. I was unfortunate enough to be stranded at the LAX airport for two days. During that time, I met another girl my age who was also returning to China to visit family. We talked for a long time and I found out her parents are also divorced like mine. She told me
